Khatte Meethe Baingan Recipe 

A sweet and acrid brinjal curry. Singed brinjal showered in a large group of hot flavors and pepped up with the tang of tamarind. 

Elements Of Khatte Meethe Baingan 

200 gm little baingan (brinjals) 

Mustard oil - for profound searing 

1/4 tsp heeng (asafoetida) 

11/2 tsp ginger-garlic glue 

1/2 tsp cumin seeds 

4-5 entire red chillies 

2 tsp saunf powder 

2 Tbsp tomato puree 

1 tsp red bean stew powder 

Salt - to taste 

1/4 tsp haldi powder 

1/2 tsp dhania powder 

1/2 tsp jeera powder 

2-3 tsp dhania leaves, cleaved 

6-7 Tbsp imli blend 

The most effective method to Make Khatte Meethe Baingan 

For imli blend: 

1.Boil water and include sugar, as per taste and include the imli pieces in it. 

2.Let it bubble for around 10-15 minutes or till the blend turns out to be thick in consistency. 

3.Drain the blend and keep aside. 

For the brinjal: 

1.First cut each baingan the long way into four pieces. 

2.Heat oil, profound sear them and keep aside. 

3.Heat 3-4 Tbsp of mustard oil, include heeng and ginger-garlic glue to it. 

4.Add cumin seeds, entire red chilles and saunf powder, blend well. 

5.Add tomato puree. 

6.Mix in all the powdered masalas and salt. 

7.Garnish with coriander leaves and pour the imli blend over it. 

8.Stir well and include the browned baingan. 

9.Cover and cook for around 8-10 minutes. 

10.Serve hot.
