Mumbai Pav Bhaji Recipe




Mumbai Pav Bhaji Recipe 

Fixings: 

Pav Buns as required ( I utilized entire wheat pav buns) 

Spread 2 tblspn 

Lemon Slices to serve 

For Bhaji: 

Potato - 3 medium size peeled and cubed 

Cauliflower - 1 container cut into huge pieces 

Beetroot - 1 little peeled and cubed 

Beans - 6 hacked 

Carrot - 1 extensive cleaved 

Solidified Peas - 1/2 container 

Onion - 1 medium size finely hacked 

Capsicum/Bell Pepper - 1 container slashed finely 

Tomato - 4 huge slashed finely 

Green Chili - 3 hacked finely 

Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tblspn 

Stew powder - 2 tsp 

Garam masala powder - 2 tsp 

Cumin Seeds/Jeerakam - 1 tsp 

Turmeric Powder/Manjal Podi - 1 tsp 

Salt to taste 

Sugar - 2 tsp 

Coriander leaves/Cilantro for embellishing 

Spread 5 tblspn 

Lemon Juice - 2 tsp or to taste 

Strategy: 

Take potato, cauliflower, beans, beetroot and carrot in a weight cooker and spread it with water. Weight cook for 4 shriek, stew for 10 mins. Turn off the warmth and let them steam go without anyone else. Open the cooker and pound the veggies generally with a masher, Set aside. 

Melt spread in a kadai and include cumin seeds and let them sizzle. 

Presently include onions and capsicum. cook till brilliant chestnut. 

Include green stew and ginger garlic glue and saute for a min. 

Include all flavor powders and blend well.Add in cleaved tomatoes and blend well. 

Include salt and sugar.Cook till the tomatoes turn soft and get to be saucy. 

Include water and peas. Heat it to the point of boiling. 

Presently include all the crushed vegetables and blend well. 

Spread it and stew for 10-15 mins.. 

Include lemon juice and coriander clears out. Blend well. Bhaji done. 

To serve pav bhaji..Heat a tblspn of spread and include a cut open pav bun and toast for 1 min till brilliant. Evacuate to a plate. 

Include a tblspn of spread in the same tawa and include some bhaji top of it..Cook till it is thick and bubbly. Exchange this to the plate. 

Touch a spoonful of spread on top and include a few onions too..Squeeze some lemon squeeze and serve..
